Join us to mark the day that the Hunterian opened its doors on 18th May 1813 with ectures, a drinks reception, and the launch of our bicentenary book Medical Museums; ollowed by an optional three-course celebratory dinner with drinks and toasts to mark he occasion. Discover the contributions of three individuals who created the museum you see today: anatomist and palaeontologist Richard Owen, pioneering dentist John Tomes and DH Tompsett, creator of extraordinary medical models - in lectures delivered by Dr Gowan Dawson (University of Leicester), Dr Barry Berkovitz (the Royal College of
\nSurgeons) and Dr Elizabeth Hallam (University of Aberdeen and University of Oxford).
