Mind / Body / Art at Tate Modern
Overview
The body has a special place in art history as subject and as source of painting, sculpture, installation and performance. This five-session course, making extensive use of works on display at Tate Modern, explores a range of philosophical questions about the relationship between mind and body, questions about representation, expression, and physicality. No prior knowledge of philosophy is assumed. Led by Nigel Warburton, Senior Lecturer in Philosophy. Price includes drinks afterwards.
