Art and Language: Writing at Tate Modern
Overview
Involving practical and discussion based activities in response to Tate’s collection the session explores the use of language and text in art. It is designed to support and extend your classroom practice, opening up a shared discussion around how art can generate debate and promote critical thinking. Artist Emma Hart will run three sessions looking at how language shapes our encounter with art.
