A Comedy of Careers at Hen and Chickens Theatre
Overview
After a successful national tour of ‘Out of Season’, O’Shea and O’Gaukroger comedy duo unite with their new show, exploring what might have happened had they chosen different careers. Featuring new sketches, characters and new songs inspired by the fantastic support act Spike Pike. Marina O’Shea and Tess O’Gaukroger, are two actor comediennes, whose unique repertoire is making a name for them with their friendly, witty and instinctive style. The pair are already making great strides in the world of comedy with gigs up and down the country. ‘This is a cracking show, full of memorable characters and fast-paced routines… quick wit, expressive faces, wonderful singing…The warmth and intelligence of ‘A Comedy of Careers’ frequently reminded me of Victoria Wood and Julie Walters are cut from the same excellent quality cloth. These girls just keep getting better…with their new show, A Comedy of Careers, they have raised the bar. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them on a TV set near you very soon…(they) stand out…these girls pull off one brilliant character after another…make sure you are available the next time they hit the stage.’
