Gered Mankowitz Exhibition at Quaglino's

Exhibition on Jimi Hendrix and The Rolling Stones, the ultimate icons of rock and roll. Many of the images were taken in nearby Mason’s Yard, in the very heart of swinging London. Mankowitz established his first studio there in 1963, and a number of legendary photo shoots took place over the years including two sessions that Mankowitz shot in 1967 with Jimi Hendrix and his band The Experience. These images subsequently became the most well-known studio pictures of the great musician.
