James + Echo and The Bunnymen at O2 Academy Brixton

Legendary indie band James are joined by '80s post-punk band Echo and The Bunnymen for this UK tour. Formed in Manchester in 1981, James gained underground attention and critical acclaim through the 1980s, and went on to find mainstream success on the back on the Madchester movement of the early 90s. Their re-recorded version of earlier song 'Sit Down' was a hit, and reached the number two spot in the UK charts. Liverpool's Echo and The Bunnymen found success in the 1980s, releasing four consecutive top 10 albums between 1981 and 1987.
