DeNada Dance Theatre, Diciembre Dance Group and The Typewriters: Young Man!, Yerma's Nights, Adaptors at The Place
Overview
Young Man!: Inspired, in part, by Jean Cocteau’s timeless libretto for Le Jeune Homme et la Mort, Carlos Pons Guerra’s fatal and kitschy duel of lust and seduction promises to subvert perceptions. Yerma's Nights: Reality and imagination become blurred when a young woman reads Lorca's poem and questions her feelings towards womanhood and society. A solo for two dancers, with live music. Adaptors: A gender fluctuating tale in a quartet of love unrequited.
