Overview
Tongue Fu is one of the liveliest and best-attended spoken word nights in London. Poets, writers, storytellers and comedians mix it up with the supremely talented tongue fu band (unkle, nostalgia 77) who conjure sublime soundtracks in every style imaginable, all with an improvised visual backdrop by design studio cr and d. Hosted and curated by poet and musician chris redmond, the night is built around improvisation and risk taking - coaxing performers, band and audience to take the leap into unchartered territories. Tongue fu is intimate, profound and often hilarious.
