Cakallarla Dans 2 (Dance With The Jackals 2) at Apollo Cinema Piccadilly Circus

A hilarious, fast-paced sequel to the 2010 Turkish comedy crime hit Cakallarla Dans. The jackals are back. Gokhan, Necmi, Hikmet and Servet are now having a hard time in jail as a result of their misdeeds. Being away from their neighbourhood, loved ones and their beloved football has put the quartet in a constant bad mood. But now volunteers are being sought among the inmates for a new drug trial, with parole offered to those who agree to become human guinea pigs. Naturally, our anti-heroes sign up without a moment's thought. As they start to take the experimental crime-preventing drugs, they each promise not to slip back into their bad old ways. But they also come to understand that it is better to dance with the jackals than to be a jackal. The follow-up to young Turkish director Murat Seker's Cakallarla Dans is another hugely entertaining, unashamed crowd-pleaser.
