Overview
A gang lord and his advisor fall for the same woman in this drama thriller set in a Prohibition-era town. The city is torn apart by two rival gangs who vie for the control of the city. Leo the gang lord (Albert Finney) and his advisor Tom try to control the warring gangs but part ways after Tom admits to having an affair with Leo's girl Verna (Marcia Gay Harden) which leads to shifting allegiances and shocking violence.
