2013 marks the centenary of Eric Estorick’s birth, offering an opportunity to re-examine one of the art world’s most remarkable careers and characters. Reuniting works no longer in the Estorick Collection, this exhibition explores the lives of Eric and his wife Salome, considering their relationships with the painters and sculptors whose work they supported, revealing the broad sweep of their artistic interests, and chronicling the formation of their truly extraordinary Italian collection.
