Wagner arr Baird: Liebestod; Mozart completed Baird: Mass in C minor. Medici Choir was established in 1951 to perform during the Festival of Britain. Back then they were known as the ‘United Hospitals Festival Choir’, and indeed most of the choir members at the time had some kind of connection with hospitals in central London. Their present conductor, John Baird, joined Medici Choir as an accompanist.
