Cabaret at Riverside Studios

Set in the decadence of 1930's Berlin, Liza Minnelli's stars in her most famous role as Sally Bowles; the Kit-Kat Club's most desired cabaret performer. Amidst a swirl of glittering choreography and musical numbers the film focuses on Sally's love affair with three different men; a naïve teacher from London, a rich German politician and a young Jewish man who is struggling with his identity. The seemingly carefree lives of the protagonists however are played out against a background of growing fear and rigidity at the time of the rise of the Third Reich.
