East London Boat Trips at National Maritime Museum
Overview
Ansel Adams had a lifelong association with the Sierra Club, an early volunteer-run environmental charity which is still active today. To reflect his commitment to protecting the natural world the museum is collaborating with Thames21 on a photography competition and series of related events. Our series of Thames 21 waterway events, including these narrow boat trips, are designed to create ideal photo opportunities for entrants. Following a short presentation of Ansel Adams’ photographs the narrowboat will set sail on an hour long journey exploring the waterways of East London.
