Around The World In 18 Tunes! at Royal Albert Hall
Overview
In three years, the leaders of Armonico Consort's AC Academy have worked with over 30,000 children. 3,000 children now sing under the leadership of a newly trained teacher in one of 30 new AC Academy school choirs and more than 600 children sing in an out-of-school AC Academy choir. In recognition of the extraordinary legacy created by the work of Armonico Consort and the AC Academy across the country, the trustees of the Royal Albert Hall are generously supporting a gala performance in one of the world's most iconic venues. In a programme celebrating music from all corners of the globe, 1500 children from AC Academy nationwide will join the incredible band Backbeat. It will be an inspiration to everyone - an experience to ignite fires in the hearts of everyone who attends.
