Pride and Prejudice at Queen's House
Overview
Film adaptation of Jane Austen's classic love story set in Regency Era England. Elizabeth Bennett is a witty and intelligent girl who lives with her four sisters, her loving father and her overbearing mother, who is determined to marry her daughters off to wealthy suitors. The arrival of two wealthy bachelors, Mr Bingley and Mr Darcy, excites Mrs Bennett greatly, and Elizabeth's sister Jane immediately falls for the charming Mr Bingley. However it soon becomes apparent that strong-willed Elizabeth has met her match in the seemingly arrogant and distant Mr Darcy.
