Resilience Conference at University of London
Overview
How do individuals, households, communities and organisations become resilient? What enables people to prevent, prepare for, recover from and transcend crises? What builds a vibrant and healthy society? Do we know what works and what does not? The British Red Cross has been engaged in discussions on these issues for some time. They work with individuals and communities who are in, or susceptible to, crises - from providing care in the home to individuals, to supporting flooded communities, to working with destitute asylum seekers. Many organisations work at the local level putting resilience building into practice. Connect conversations, share approaches and learn more about what works.
