Cathy Cassidy at Purcell Room

Cathy Cassidy, Puffin girl brand author and the current 'Queen of Teen', shares her stories of her early writing days and career into journalism working for both Jackie and Shout magazines, also encouraging the children to think up ideas for contributing or starting a pupil magazine in their school. Cathy's talk is filled with her top tips for friendship and daydreaming and lots of chocolate and includes a Q and A section. The audience can also take part in a quiz to find out which Cathy Cassidy character they are most like. Cathy is also signing books at this session, including her new paperback, 'Summer's Dream', the third book in the Chocolate Box Girls series.
