The Glenn Miller Orchestra at Churchill Theatre
Overview
The Glenn Miller Orchestra was originally formed in 1937 by Miller a successful composer of swing and jazz music. The orchestra revolves around the sounds of the clarinet and saxaphone and produced many chart hits in the 1940s. Miller sadly went missing (presumed dead) in 1944 when his aeroplane was lost over the English Channel. However, this didn't stop the orchestra, who went on to play in his honour and are still going strong today. Expect lots of smooth swing and jazz melodies to take you back to the feel of the 1940s.
