Sophie Evans at Pizza Express: The Pheasantry

A runner-up in BBC's One’s 'Over the Rainbow', Sophie Evans went on to play the lead role of Dorothy anyway (in Andrew Lloyd Webber's production of 'The Wizard Of Oz' at the London Palladium) - as well as perform at the Laurence Olivier Awards at the Royal Opera House, headline a show with the BBC National Orchestra Of Wales, sing at The Millennium Stadium before Wales versus France in the Rugby World Cup, and headline 'Late-Night Jazz' at The Royal Albert Hall. She is also the subject of ITV documentary 'Dare To Dream', about her rise to success. Here, Sophie brings her own unique style to well-loved songs from the shows, as well as pop songs and modern classics, and is accompanied by her musical director John Quirk on piano.
