Join V&A researcher Elaine Tierney as she uncovers some of the stories behind objects featured in the most recent series of BBC4’s Handmade in Britain. The work of well-known makers, Thomas Chippendale and Grinling Gibbons, is explored along side virtuosic examples of embroidery, knitting and wallpaper to celebrate the history of British artistry and craftsmanship.
