The Best In Stand Up: Hal Cruttenden + Ian Moore + Doc Brown + Daniel Sloss at The Comedy Store, London
Overview
Hal Cruttenden: 'He takes the personal, the surreal, the ridiculous and the political, and whizzes them into a delicious comedy smoothie that is sweet with a hint of sharpness. And it's really good for you.' The Scotsman. 'Cruttenden takes his own world of the cosy English middle classes, rummages around it and pulls out some remarkably dark humour that he finds lurking at the bottom.' The Herald
\nIan Moore: Almost single-handedly leading the resurgence of all things mod, comedian Ian Moore has achieved great success on the London and National circuits and is a regular headliner at London's famous Comedy Store. Doc Brown: Once an underground rapper who worked with, among others De La Soul and Mark Ronson, Ben 'Doc Brown' Smith put down one mic and picked up another in 2008 after working as a 'slang consultant' on a Lenny Henry sitcom, written by Danny Robins and Dan Testell for Radio 4. Daniel Sloss: He trained with the legendary Frankie Boyle during this year's Edinburgh Festival sell out show and subsequently provided material used by Frankie on Mock the Week.
