The Eternal Smile at Silk Street Theatre

A large group of dead people sit in darkness, conversing to pass the time, or rather, eternity. After thousands of years go by they rise up and go on the rampage, determined to seek out God and demand an answer. Based on Nobel Prize-winning author Par Lagerkvist, The Eternal Smile is a performance about the dead and their complex relationship with the living.
