It's time for children to start running the show as London's Southbank Centre is taken over for the Imagine Children's Festival. Transformed by children for children, this jamboree features activities from dance and theatre to books and art.
The 2016 Imagine Children's Festival includes a diverse programme of events, from performances by the Dutch puppet company Theater Gnaffel (20 Feb) to talks by best-selling children's authors and illustrators such as David Baddiel, Cressida Cowell and Oliver Chanarin.
To celebrate the centenary of Roald Dahl's birth, the festival features an interactive experience through the author's immersive world and iconic characters, The Wondercrump World of Roald Dahl.
Raucous, entertaining and informative, there's guaranteed to be something at the Imagine Children's Festival to keep the most restless of youngsters happily occupied.
Most events and activities are free to attend, a few are ticketed. Check the official website of the Southbank Centre for further information.
