BBC Concert Orchestra at Watford Colosseum

BBC Concert Orchestra in a special evening celebrating the golden age of musical theatre. The 50s and 60s saw the musical take off on both sides of the pond. On Broadway the greats Leonard Bernstein, Frank Loesser, Jule Styne, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim and Cy Coleman had their names in lights. The West End saw Noël Coward, Lionel Bart, Leslie Bricusse, Sandy Wilson and Andrew Lloyd Webber reign supreme. Stars from the stage including Graham Bickley join the BBC Concert Orchestra and musical maestro Richard Balcombe.
