American Football NFL: Jacksonville Jaguars vs San Francisco 49ers
Overview
For the first time ever, London will host two regular-season NFL International Series games in response to the burgeoning American football scene in the UK and sell-out crowds at previous events.
Taking place at Wembley Stadium, the Jacksonville Jaguars will take on the San Francisco 49ers on 27 October. This follows a game on 29 September when the Minnesota Vikings face the Pittsburgh Steelers.
American football is one of the fastest-growing university sports in the UK with more than 60 teams and over 3,500 players.
