Seussical The Musical at Kenneth More Theatre

Seussical weaves together many of Dr. Seuss's characters and stories into one plotline. The Cat in the Hat is the host and emcee (and all-around mischief-maker) in this romp through the Seuss classics. Horton the Elephant faces a challenge or two: firstly Horton hears a small cry for help coming from a small speck of dust, and he promises to rescue and guard it because 'a person's a person, no matter how small.' Second, he promises to guard Mayzie La Bird’s egg, despite facing constant ridicule, kidnapping, and a kangaroo court trial. It seems loyal Gertrude McFuzz is in his corner. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant, in a story that makes you laugh and cry.
