Cirque du Soleil’s classic Alegria has received international acclaim and been enjoyed by more than 10 million people worldwide and this summer it comes to London.
The show features an international cast of 55 performers and musicians from 17 countries who will showcase breath-taking acrobatics during the two and a half hour production.
The show, described as “A baroque ode to the energy, grace and power of youth”, has many themes, including power and the handing down of power over time, and the evolution from ancient monarchies to modern democracies.
Alegria is a Spanish word that means happiness, joy and jubilation. The show’s highlights include:
