Overview

An anaesthesia seminar on common issues involved in the management of patients undergoing ENT surgery in a district general hospital, to keep up to date with current thinking. The topics include role of LMA's in ENT surgery anaesthesia, dealing with tricky airway problems, new modalities and techniques of anaesthetising for endoscopic surgery and reviewing the technique and outcomes of percutaneous tracheostomies. An ENT surgeon gives his view of anaesthetics and updates on the latest developments in ENT surgery.
