End of Life and Intensive Care Seminar at Anaesthesia Heritage Centre
Overview
End of Life and Intensive Care is a seminar to discuss legal and ethical problems faced by clinicians making decisions to institute, withhold or withdraw treatment in critically ill patients. Multiple ways of approaching death and dying in the technologically advanced 21st century are tackled. The speakers have backgrounds in medicine, intensive care, philosophy and law and the topics lend themselves to a good discussion.
