Toploader at Jazz Cafe
Overview
Late 90s chart-rock band Toploader were shoe-ins for global stardom with their hit cover of King Harvest's song 'Dancing in the Moonlight' and a six album deal from Sony. Their debut album 'Onka's Big Moka' produced a string of chart hits and sold over 1.5 million copies. The sales of their follow up, 'Magic Hotel' however, did not impress Sony and the band was dropped from the label in 2003 and they subsequently split up. After a long hiatus, the band have decided to reform, with new material, a tour and festival slots tipped for the near future.
