Nordic Film Festival
Overview
London's first-ever Nordic Film Festival brings together a broad mix of independent movies from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden in a bid to celebrate the region's vibrant filmmaking scene.
The festival opens on 30 November at South Kensington's Ciné Lumière with a screening of critically-acclaimed director Susanne Bier's Love is All You Need, starring Pierce Brosnan and Trine Dyrholm.
Closing the festival on 5 December at Hammersmith's Riverside Studios will be the UK premiere of Lisa Langseth's debut feature Pure starring Alicia Vikander, of Anna Karenina fame.
Programme highlights include screenings of Troll Hunter, Beyond, Festen and Helsinki Forever.
