Howard Brookner’s 1983 film is essential viewing. It is a key portrait of Burroughs made during his lifetime and includes his peers Allen Ginsberg and Brion Gysin. Aaron Brookner, nephew of the director, will introduce the film and discuss the campaign to restore and re-release this long out of print cult classic.
