Overview

Meet Arthur Kipps, an orphan and apprentice draper, living and working in Folkestone at the turn of the 20th Century. Kipps’ simple existence is turned upside down when he inherits a fortune. Now he is faced with some important choices - his old working class friends, or his new upper class ones, his childhood sweetheart Ann, or his wealthy fianceé Helen.
