Still: Mother and Child, Gamin; Ciach: Four Autumn Falls (world premiere); Borne: Fantasy Brilliante on Themes from Bizet’s Opera ‘Carmen’. The kind of performance that sparks wild standing ovations. Definitive' says the American Record Guide of flautist Linda Chatterton. A Yamaha Performing Artist, Linda has performed in New York at Carnegie and Alice Tully halls, was a featured recitalist on the Dame Myra Hess series in Chicago, and has been heard throughout the US on National Public Radio’s Performance Today. As a concerto soloist, highlights include many performances of the Lukas Foss Renaissance Concerto. She has commissioned, recorded and premiered many new works. 2012-13 projects include performances and master classes in Iceland, England, Ireland, Thailand and throughout the US. She is a member of Ensemble 61, a contemporary music group based in Minneapolis.
