Overview
Made in 1946, The Overlanders is set during the Second World War, as the Japanese army is about to invade the Northern Territory. Rather than kill a herd of cattle, a group of rugged Aussies, led by Chips Rafferty, decides to drive the cattle over 1,000 miles to safety near Brisbane.
