Lunchtime Concert: Busch Ensemble: Schubert, Schumann at St. Martin-in-the-Fields
Overview
Schubert: Sonatensatz D28; Schumann: Piano Trio No 1 in D minor. Winners of the 2012 Royal Overseas League Competition, The Busch Ensemble is a chamber music group founded in November 2010. They perform in various formations and have played in the Netherlands, France, Germany and the United Kingdom, in halls such as The Sage Gateshead, Queen Elizabeth Hall as well as the Two Moor Festival and Edinburgh Festival Fringe. As a piano trio, the Ensemble are the winners of the 2nd prize and the Recording prize at the Salieri-Zinetti International Chamber Music Competition in Italy 2012. Future projects include releasing their Debut CD, continuing to perform and record the works of Adolf Busch, alongside concerts at The Purcell Room and Wigmore Hall.
