When Harry Met Sally at Charterhouse
Overview
Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan take the lead roles in Rob Reiner’s smart and sassy romantic comedy. After graduating from college, Harry and Sally first meet when they decide to share a car to New York. As the two discuss themselves and their plans for the future, they decide that it’s impossible for men and women to be ‘just friends’. Once in New York, they go their own separate ways, but repeatedly bump into each other, relaying their own stories of failed marriages and lost love. As the two form a close friendship, they’re confronted with the complex feelings they have for one another. Can they be ‘just friends’ or will sex eventually get in the way? An homage to some of Woody Allen’s early films, 'When Harry Met Sally' is a sparkling and intelligent comedy that catapulted Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan to superstardom.
