Sinead O'Connor at Barbican Hall
Overview
Sinead O'Connor's latest album: How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?, promises songs about love and loss, hope and regret, pain and redemption, anger and justice, all built around her iconic raw and passionate voice. After early notoriety with 'that' famous cover of Prince's Nothing Compares 2 U in the early 90s, O'Connor has gone on to record a total of nine studio albums, working with collaborators including Massive Attack, Wyclef Jean and Brian Eno. Always outspoken and often controversial, O'Connor continues to make influential work that defies age and convention, of an unmistakable and singular intent.
