Mukund Maalaa - Dance Ballet at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan
Overview
Hindu mythology is bursting with countless mystical figures - from gods to demons to flying monkeys - but none of them have a life history as colourful as that of Lord Krishna. Come and watch a dance ballet based on stories of this inimitable figure, performed through Bharatanatyam and Kathak, which are two of the most stunning and popular dance styles to come out of India. Performers belong to the Bhavan centre in London, the largest institute for Indian art and culture in the UK.
