Overview

What happens when you lock up a Celtic fan with a Rangers fan on the day of the Old Firm? Grevious bodily harm is probably your first answer but Scottish playwright Des Dillon creates a tragic-comic situation when Billy and Tim clash with each other. By sensitively considering the social context of West of Scotland bigotry, Dillon asks the question whether children who have been steeped in bigotry since birth, are capable of changing their views? Old Firm fans have lapped up this play since its debut in 2005 and it has been touring Scotland and Ireland to rapturous applause ever since.
