Hand Patchwork at Liberty

This day is about teaching absolute beginners and rusty returnees how to do hand patchwork using the English paper piecing method. During the day we will cover a basic introduction to hand sewing, how to cut out and use patchwork patterns, how to sew a simple patchwork panel, how to quilt a panel by hand using plain and decorative stitches. By the end of the day you will be able to hand patchwork at a basic but confident level; have the skills you need to start a project right away; have started to learn to love patchwork and want to do more.
