Nathalie Mba Bikoro: The Middle Passage - Alice in Wonderland at Tiwani Contemporary

Tiwani Contemporary in association with Ed Cross Fine Art cordially request the pleasure of your company at the opening of Nathalie Mba Bikoro's: The Middle Passage: Alice in Wonderland. On exhibition is Bikoro's series of photo etchings depicting a new Alice travelling through Wonderland, an evolving body of work that explores gender identity, matriarchal and patriarchal relationships, anthropology, and the mythologizing of the African continent through time, using a visual narrative of appropriation. Videos of Bikoro's performance art are also included in the series.
