Frightened Rabbit at HMV Forum
Overview
Frightened Rabbit are a Scottish band from Selkirk who’ve gone from recording in their bedrooms, to success on both sides of the Atlantic. Crafting their own sound seen as, Scottish ‘folk-rock’, they released their debut album ‘Sing the Greys’ on local label, Hits The Fan, in 2006. With this early success they hit the states for a tour and with this experience and many fans in their pockets ‘The Midnight Organ Fight’ album was released in 2008. Going on to support indie crooners, Death Cab for Cutie during their 2008 UK and Irish tour, they released a live album, ‘Quietly Now!’. Their latest offering in 2010, is ‘The Winter of Mixed Drinks’ has seen them expanded to a five piece band. With their brittle and often fragile sounds they are band that have earned their fans and shall gain more on this tour.
