The Killer Inside Me at BFI Southbank

The Killer Inside Me is based on the novel by legendary pulp writer Jim Thompson and tells the story of a handsome and unassuming small town sheriff's deputy Lou Ford. The sheriff's deputy has women problems and an ever-growing pile of murder victims in his West Texas jurisdiction. These problems aren't helped by the fact that Lou is also a sadistic killer contributing towards his own workload. Suspicion begins to fall on Lou and it's only a matter of time before he runs out of alibis. But inside this bleak noir universe nothing is ever what it seems, and it turns out that the investigators pursuing him might have a secret of their own.
