Modelling Play at Battersea Arts Centre

Modelling Play is a new interactive work based on the science of climate and social modelling. It invites the audience to take control of a complex system, a tropical island, a city block or a ski resort, as it faces a serious crisis. Combining the epic scope of tabletop boardgames with interactive performance and storytelling, it asks why some systems collapse and others bounce back, why some communities hold together despite adversity while others turn on themselves, and how co-operation can emerge from the most unlikely places.
