Get Aladdin at Landor Theatre

When street-thief Aladdin and his widowed ('single but experienced') mum stumble on a dangerous magic lamp, they find themselves pursued by the evil Abanazer and a hapless Scotland Yard detective on secondment from G4S. They flee their Chinese laundry in Clapham, and stow away to the ancient, badly-researched Chinese province of Hao Hung, where they are joined in a battle of love and wits by the Emperor, his gay hot-geek son, and a lascivious genie (You’ve got to rub her the right way). Filthier than a late night takeaway, sweeter than satay sauce, Get Aladdin is a magical magical festive show with all the trimmings and a generous helping of MSG.
