About

This comedy musical follows the plight of a pair of teenage Mormon missionaries sent to convert a village in a dangerous part of Uganda.

The brainchild of South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, this smash-hit Broadway musical has won high praise from US critics as well as an incredible nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

Two young Mormon missionaries are sent to a remote village in northern Uganda, where a brutal warlord is threatening the local population. Naïve and optimistic, the two missionaries try to share the Book of Mormon, one of their scriptures – which only one of them knows very well – but have trouble connecting with the locals, who are more worried about war, famine, poverty and AIDS than about religion.

Suitable for audiences aged 18 and over, The Book of Mormon contains explicit language.

Excellent show with a hilarious take on religion. Guaranteed to make you laugh regardless of your beliefs. Expect crude and brash humour. A must see!Read More

Decided to watch Book of Mormon after reading few reviews - they were mixed ones and I am not South Park fan but it is a 9 time Tony Awards musical and everyone else wanted to watch in the group, so decided on this one. It's a story of two Mormon missionaries on a quest to teach a Ugandan village the ways of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I'm so glad I went as it was...Read More

Incredible show. And so reasonably priced. We purchased tickets directly from the theater in advance of the screening. We had to pick up our tickets on the day, but it was super easy. It is helpful to know a very brief bit of history prior to experiencing the show but it would still be enjoyable without that. This show, from the creators of South Park, is so funny. It is good natured but can...Read More

I really loved it. It was fun, witty and very very rude! If you are easily offended, specially with religious issues probably is better to avoid it, otherwise you should go!

A good musical and a better comedy!

Curiously one in our party didn't enjoy but she is not a fan of musicals and she prefers something more serious, The rest of us loved it!Read More

Very interesting plan, certainly extremely satire and ironic. Fairly inappropriate so might not be for everyone's taste.

I personally preferred this over jersey boys, but I guess it all depends on what you like.

If you liked South Park or Avenue Q, you might like this.Read More
