Advanced Student Tuition and Workshop Access. Choose from 3 options which give you improved workshop access to complete your own projects. Each option includes a 3 hour class each week with Vicky Forrester. Additional hours are taken before or after the class for self-directed practice, according to the option you choose. Make a Brooch with a Magnetic Clasp, this term we look at novel approaches to fastenings for jewellery, incorporating magnets as the method of attachment. First exploring a range of applications for magnets we will then consider how this attraction can be incorporated to create a unique solution in combination with other advanced techniques, eg married metals, folding or etching, for your own brooch (or similar) design. These options are suitable for students with advanced jewellery making skills.
