Writing London at Museum of London
Overview
Inspired by the objects, galleries and exhibitions in the Museum, visitors can learn how to produce writing that comes alive for a reader. Using the objects, galleries and special exhibitions of the Museum of London as sources of inspiration, they will explore how to write vivid and evocative prose (fiction, biography, memoir, essays) and/or poetry that comes alive on the page. During the course, they will begin to develop a writer’s eye and ear and learn how to create characters that a reader can care about and worlds that they can believe in. Most importantly, they will find their own writing voice.
